After an entirely-too-long hiatus, the Chapel Hill Needlepoint Blog is back. We can't wait to once again be sharing our favorite projects and news from the shop!

New Location in the New Year!

 On January 5, 2016, Chapel Hill Needlepoint will open in our new location:

 762-B Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. (Historic Airport Rd.)

The new shop is located in Midtown Market, 

between Flyleaf Books and Kitchen, 

just down from The Root Cellar.

Christmas Ornament Round-up

Heres a look at the ornaments I had done for this past Christmas. Highlights include: personalized graduation gown in honor of Carson's graduation from Randolph Macon; beaded 'Keep Calm and Wait for Santa' round; and customizable mini-stockings. Such a fun year!

Looking to commemorate a summer trip? We love these two-sided travel suitcases. The case on the left is the European case, symbolizing various European countries. The case on the right is the New England case, featuring one side dedicated to New York City. This is a perfect project for any traveller!

Constantly losing your needlepoint scissors? Scissor fobs like these are a great way to keep track of your scissors - and keep 'em looking cute! Easily done in a couple of days, we recommend needlepointing some fobs for a fun, quick project.

Carson's Last Ornament Round-Up!

As many of you know, Carson gets twelve ornaments every year for the Twelve Days of Christmas. Since he has just graduated from college, this was my last year doing all twelve. Here's a look at last years stash ... Highlights include: dog bones with the names of his furry friends; signs from his favorite restaurants; his fraternity letters; a BBQ food truck; and a car personalized with various things about him. Stay tuned to see what he gets next year!
